For instance, the Cherokee Rattlesnake prophecies also end in 2012, and over 700 years ago Jewish priests prophesied in the Zohar that the Messiah would arrive in the year 2012. Cultures separated by thousands of miles or years refer to 2012 and the return of their God as common themes, he stated. Interestingly, a 500-year-old Mayan prophecy relates to the founding of America, referring to the year 1776, and a 13th step countdown ending in the year 2012, said Horn. Many US Founding Fathers were aware of these prophecies, and incorporated this knowledge into designs in Washington DC, such as the US Capitol dome, and in the Great Seal of the US, which depicts the return of a pagan god, he detailed. As for what might occur in 2012, Horn noted that according to NASA, the time frame of 2012-2013 could bring powerful solar storms, and we could be knocked off the grid for up to three years. He also talked about the increased experimentation with transgenic creatures that are bred with mixed human and animal DNA, and how this is a repeat of what the Watchers (Nephilim) did back in the biblical era.

2012 is not the end of the world even if we look at the Aztec calendar 2012, it is just part of a prediction that we will realize in the next decade that our civilization has entered a new stage in its evolution and we as individuals will see the world in a radically different way than our ancestors.

As with all end of the world 2012 predictions there are different views as to what the prediction or prophecy actually means. In 2000, some people thought space aliens would come to Earth and others thought it would be the second coming of Christ. As far as I remember, those examples were not unlike the other ideas of what would happen, the most accepted of which was that there would be a massive computer/ digital problem because of the date.

The same is true for proponents of Aztec calendar 2012. There are those who go way out there and claim things about the end of the world, but the truth is that it is not a prediction of the end of the world but the beginning of a new era. Those who are more credible have based their theory of a world changing event starting according to the Aztec calendar 2012 not on some programming errors but on artifacts and records from around the world.

The Aztec and other ancients around the world have put enormous importance on symbols and other records of a recurring (tens of thousands of years apart) alignment of the Earth with the Sun on a particular axis that also aligns with our galactic plane and the center of our galaxy. The symbol for this, found across many religions and cultures, is a circle with a cross or just a simple cross. Between us and the center of the galaxy is a ‘dark rift’, an area empty of stars and other matter, which is often depicted in artifacts and religions as the birth canal, symbolizing the birth place of the Earth and all that is around us. 21 December 2012 is the exact date of this alignment.

The difficult thing with Nostradamus 2012 Doomsday Prophecy and all his other prophecies too for that matter, is that they are made in a kind of poetic verse called Quatrains. And making it trickier still they use metaphorical language to describe what he sees happening in the future – which naturally are open to interpretation. However some of his predictions are eerily close – for instance he called Adolf Hitler ‘Hister’ and named York as the city where the two towers would burn – referring to it as a ‘New’ city. The death of Princess Diana was another very specific prediction – he used her exact name. Others are not so clear, and are only obvious in hind-sight when the event has taken place.

So for now the jury is still out over exactly what the Nostradamus 2012 Prophecy actually means – other than it will be linked with the emergence of the Third Antichrist’ in the Middle East and probably involves nuclear weapons.  But if what Nostradamus predicts comes true in 2012, a global nuclear war could easily wipe out whole countries and billions of people all over the world in a matter of a few weeks.

The good news is that nuclear war, even on a massive scale, is survivable if you do what you need to do now to protect your family.
The lesson of Nostradamus 2012 Doomsday Prophecy is that we must start preparing now, even if it is a case of preparing for the worst, while hoping for the best. And when you look back on Nostradamus frankly astonishing record or predicting the future, preparing for something very bad indeed seems like a very smart thing to do.

Once more, borrowing from June Jordan who originally penned the phrase, “We are the ones we have been waiting for”, the TIME IS NOW! That we will cross the winter solstice on December 21, 2012, there is no doubt. The Mayans knew that back in 3113BCE, whereas our expert scientific community hasn’t known it until recently. But, that said, the season of change isn’t going to happen at 11:11pm on that date. The transformation(s) are already happening- NOW!  

We are coming back around in one of the many cycles of life or as T. S. Eliot write, “We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring, will be to arrive where we started, and know the place for the first time.” We are being awakened by the forces of the universe, the Source, the Divine. Nothing can prevent what IS, not delay what’s on the way. But, we can prepare the way rather than kick against the proverbial pricks.

The ego always likes to resist what it doesn’t author.

One of the early 2012 pioneers is John Major Jenkins. His research of the Mayans, particularly for the last two decades brings us into the awareness that our Sun doesn’t cross the diameter that spans the Milky Way galaxy in a day. On a much smaller model, but with the same principle, a lunar eclipsed doesn’t happen in a second, nor minute. The bottom lime mathematical model says that this once every 26,000 year “galactic crossing” takes place over 30 years. Thirty
years! Jenkins says this period began in 1986 and ends around 2016.

Thus the transformation(s) of 2012 IS NOW, and yet also accelerating! 

Can you SEE?

Is it happenstance or coincidental that as we started off this move across the “galactic crossing” by leaving the modern era and entering what sociologists now all the post modern era? Is it not significant that 2005 particularly and the last fifteen years generally hashavehad seen the greatest earthquakes (69,000 killed in China in ‘08), the deadliest cyclone (Nargis in Myanmar killing 84,000 people), not to mention Rita, Katrina, etc. Is it a coincidence that our planet is undergoing economic upheavals not seen since the Great Depression, with the end not yet seen?

Can you FEEL the spirit, the consciousness, the changes, and the transformations that are going on? Did I mention the decline in bees or need, we revisit Einstein’s comment on that phenomenon?

The 2012 concept IS NOW; however, that doesn’t mean the PEAK has been reached, just that NOW IS!
