Live Out Your Dreams, Not Your Past

In which direction are you going in your life? The path forward is the best direction to go, although we sometimes get stuck moving forward and hold on to the past; a trail that is left behind. But used to be’s don’t count anymore. It’s criticallyimperative for personal and professional growth that we shiftget) out of neutral or reverse and begin living out our imagination and dreams, not our personal history.

If you want to move your career forward, make a career change, go back to school, or make any kind of personal or professional change you have to look ahead, create a strategy, and start day-by-day to make it happen. You can’t afford to lose any forward momentum because the minute you do, chances are you get stuck – into old patterns, old thoughts, familiar habits, and old times.

Sadly, many people spend most of their time driving along memory lane. They get trapped living their life constantly looking back through their rearview mirror. Since you can’t move forward and back at the same time, this pattern of behavior leads to no movement at all. When you don’t move you stagnate – you regret the past and complain about the present.

You are left with no way to see the future. Your present circumstances, your previous failures, and your missed opportunities start to control your thinking process. When you restrict your ability to see the future, you extinguish your ability to dream. Without dreams you can’t envision a new way of being and, thus, your ability to set and achieve goals is quashed as well.

Standing still also occurs when you fall short of setting any goals. If you are not sure what you want, or you live your life fulfilling the expectations of others, you won’t develop any sense of what direction to take. Wandering like this has the same consequence as standing still.  The lack of purpose and forward thinking limits who you are and what you are capable of achieving.

Avoid making this lethal mistake. You should welcome the future and relish all that is possible in your life, despite what events or setbacks may have happened to you, or what belief patterns may have influenced you. The past shapes who you are today, but, you also want to keep the past in perspective so that it does not unduly influence who you can be in the future.

How you decide to live your life has everything to do with what you belief is true, which becomes a lens, through which you filter all of your experiences. Choose to be open to new and boundless possibilities of the future. Your ability to be truly happy, truly content, and truly pleased in your professional and personal realms hinges on moving forward and listening to your heart’s desires.

Follow the following personal development tips from a personal development coach and start your dream today:

  • First, decide to move forward with confidence in the direction of your dreams!
  • Stop believing in what think is true, and start believing in what you truly want!
  • Get specific about what you want from life.
  • Resolve to let go of anger, resentment and hurt feelings from the past.
  • Align your internal beliefs with the person you dream of being.
  • Put your car in gear and step on the gas.

The past is a trail that is left behind you. Don’t allow yourself be pulled backward into the past or get stuck in one perspective. What you believe about yourself and what you’re capable of will determine your actions and the results you will create.  Believe in yourself and the dreams you have. It is in the moment you decide to move forward, or move on, that you can become the mental architect of your own personal transformation.

Depression is an insidious disease usually brought on by a chemical imbalance in the brain. Clinically depressed people tend to have problems getting to sleep or sleeping restfully. The resulting sleep deprivation can then make the depression worse, resulting in more sleep deprivation, and so on and so on.

Those people who don’t suffer clinical depression but do suffer from sleep deprivation can actually feel the effects as depression. Feeling unergetic, tired, and irritable are common effects of sleep deprivation and can often lead to true depression. It’s a connection that scientists continue to study but that no one disputes. It’s critical, therefore, to get the best night’s sleep possible every night and a well thought out speaker pillow may be the answer for many.

The History Behind Audio Guidance

The concept of using music, sounds, and or audio guidance for enhanced well being is not new and has been most notably researched by individuals such as Heinrich Wilhelm Dove (1803 – 1879), Dr. Alfred A. Tomatis (1920-2001), and Robert A. Monroe (1915–1995). Most noted for his development of audio recording to enhance consciousness and develop intuition, among many other applications (such as stress relief and enhanced dreaming) is Robert Monroe and the Monroe Institute.

What is the Science Behind Audio Guidance?

The crux of the science behind sound, binaural audio guidance, and gentle sound-induced sleep is how the brain stem reacts to ultra-low frequency tones that are slightly varied in the left and right ears.

While the listener hears primarily the music or ambient sounds while listening, the brain “hears” the difference between the two low tones and produces a third tone called binaural beat. This simply means the brain is now in “sync”. This creates a coherency to the brain’s activity. Consequently, the listener is able to easily reach a deep, restful sleep state.

The Sleepsonic speaker pillow is ideally suited for this application, and numerous sound therapy programs such as Hemi-Sync® and Brain-Sync® are best utilized through the speaker pillow delivery method for attaining sleep and relaxation. The recordings used in the implementation of audio exercises such as the Hemi-Sync or Brain Sync CDs, are optimized by the use of headphones.

Thus, wherever headphones are used for sleep or while listening to relaxing sound or sleep exercises, the additional comfort of an effective listening aid such as a speaker pillow is readily experienced. The speaker pillow permits uninterupted listening during rest and helps the listener to reach a calm state that leads to a restful sleep cycle.

Why Use a Quality Speaker Pillow?

The Sleepsonic® portable design and high quality fabrics make this an attractive and functional speaker pillow for today’s on-the-go listener. Underlying the speaker pillow’s design is a unique and progressive understanding of how audio programs can be optimized through comfortable and portable stereo delivery devices while in a reclined position.

With today’s wildly popular mp3 players and portable CD players now abundantly available, the Sleepsonic speaker pillow easily attaches to these devices without the further need for batteries and extra gadgets.

Additionally, as in the Sleepsonic’s Organic Sherpa™ fabric, this particular speaker pillow is a simple yet effective – and wholly natural – alternative for enhancing the sleeping process. Its natural fabric, combined with a soft natural latex foam fill is extremely soothing, especially to those who suffer from sleep deprivation and depression.

When there is a need to have the senses stimulated in a focused manner – to attend to the tactile needs as well as audio while engaging music and sound for therapeutic and self-directed reasons, the Sleepsonic speaker pillow is the right choice. With Sleepsonic there’s no need to suffer from sleep deprivation and resulting depression.

Discover the joys of a good night’s sleep and the natural way to end depression.

Before we jump into how we may well be capable of carrying out a hypnosis weight loss therapy, we may well need to recognize at first why we may ever need to start one in the first place.

Well, it is not that we are not recommended to opt for such a hypnosis therapy but there are in fact quite a lot of other therapies or ways of losing weight that we may potentially find in existence among the community out there. Some may just pay careful attention to their diets only. Some may simply try to do exercises routinely.

Some may even do both of these activities. However, there are ofttimes times when both of these activities prove to be a failure and this is normally the point of time at which the people with some overweight problems try to give a shot at the hypnosis weight loss therapy.

However, prior to starting such a hypnosis therapy, it may well be wise to understand what we ought to do in order to make the therapy work. First of all, we will usually be required to find a hypnotherapist. It is a very good thing if we are able to find one who is quite experienced in the field. Yet, if this is not possible, finding a hypnotherapist who is dependable seems good as well.

Then, the second step that we will need to get done after finding a hypnotherapist we can trust is that we need to be open minded and let ourselves be hypnotized. Otherwise, the hypnotherapist, no matter how proficient and experienced he or she is, will never be able to get the hypnosis weight loss therapy started.

It is crucial to keep in mind that if someone does not allow himself to be hypnotized, that person will never be vulnerable to what we call hypnosis. Also, this has no relationship with the skills of the hypnotherapist.

After we get hypnotized, we need not feel frightened or anywhere even close to it. It is not going to be corresponding to what we see in the movies, where the victims of hypnosis fall unaware of what is happening around them or what they are doing at the given time. As a matter of fact, we will usually be quite aware of things but only we are not capable enough of taking control of what takes place.

To make it easier to be understood, it seems like we are sitting at the rear seats in a car instead of the driver’s seat. Therefore, we have no control of what direction the car we are in is moving.

The hypnosis weight loss therapy is then complete. After undergoing such a hypnosis therapy several times, it is not surprising any longer if the people who undergo the therapy are able to carry out even their own self hypnosis weight loss therapy.

Yet, to notice optimum results, it is recommended that these people do not forget their other methods of losing weight they are already doing before undergoing this particular therapy.
